In a celebration of India-Japan cultural diplomacy and innovation, Keiichi Ono, Ambassador of Japan to India, paid a special visit to the India Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan.

Ambassador Ono delivered a special address during his visit, expressing deep admiration for India’s dynamic presentation at the global expo. The Pavilion — themed around India’s cultural richness, technological advancements, and growing investment potential — provided a vibrant glimpse into the spirit of modern India, or Bharat.


The Pavilion has emerged as one of the most compelling exhibits at the Expo, showcasing India’s multifaceted identity through art, technology, sustainability, and opportunity. From interactive displays of AI and renewable energy solutions to classical dance and yoga demonstrations, visitors are offered an immersive journey through India’s unique civilizational and futuristic identity.



As part of his engagement, Ambassador Ono also joined a special event organized by the State of Andhra Pradesh, where he shared remarks highlighting the growing economic and cultural ties between Japan and Andhra Pradesh. He acknowledged the state’s proactive approach in fostering partnerships with Japanese businesses, particularly in manufacturing, infrastructure, and human resource development.


The visit underscores the growing momentum in India-Japan strategic and cultural ties, with both nations continuing to collaborate across sectors such as infrastructure, digital transformation, sustainable energy, and human capital development.
