In this special feature, we bring readers exclusive insights from the Expo Organizing Committee on progress, engagement strategies, upcoming highlights, and why Expo 2025 is fast becoming one of the most meaningful global events of the decade.

Unprecedented Engagement, Steady Growth

In the first month of the Expo (April 13 to May 12), the site recorded an average daily footfall of 105,000. That figure climbed significantly to 140,000 visitors per day in the second month, reflecting growing domestic and international interest. Weekly ticket sales are hovering around half a million, indicating the sustained momentum and appeal of the event.

Global Pavilions, Unforgettable Experiences

With participation from over 150 countries, regions, and international organizations, each pavilion brings unique perspectives and creativity to the central theme. While the organizing committee does not rank pavilions by popularity, they emphasize the emotional and intellectual impact of each experience.

“Success isn’t just measured by numbers, but by how deeply each visitor reflects on our collective future,” a spokesperson shared. “This Expo is designed to spark dialogue, provoke thought, and promote awareness.” Shared, Sachiko Yoshimura, Director General - Public Relations & Promotion Bureau, EXPO 2025.

Connecting Global Audiences: Multi-Platform Outreach

To reach and engage international audiences, Expo 2025 has adopted a robust, multi-channel strategy, including:

  • Multilingual digital platforms and apps

  • Global social media campaigns, including on WeChat and Instagram

  • Collaborations with influencers and global media

  • Virtual tours and live-streamed events

  • Cultural diplomacy through National Days and performances

These tools have played a vital role in building a sense of global participation—making the Expo truly accessible across borders.
