Paper, Patience, and Precision: Annual Origami Competition at Tagore International School

Inter-School Origami Competition on 14th November 2024 organised at Tagore International School as a part of special and official event of the Japan Months 2024.



In partnership with the Embassy of Japan, Tagore International school Vasant Vihar New Delhi has been organising an annual interschool origami competition for students of classes III – XIII for several years.


Origami is an increasingly popular craft among students, it is also an activity that improves patience, concentration and attention to detail.


One of the most unique and highly reputed competitions among schools, in Delhi NCR, Tagore International School invites more than 35 Schools from all over Delhi to participate in different solo and group categories and one event for the teachers as well.


Each category has its theme that brings out creativity and finesse in the Japanese art of paper-folding and hand dexterity.


This year the annual Inter-School Origami Competition will be held on, Thursday, 14th November 2024 at Tagore International School, Vasant Vihar as a part of special and official event of the Japan Months 2024.


Origami is the ancient art of Japanese paper folding. This competition would present an opportunity for the participating students and teachers to enhance their technique of the art of paper folding, was mentioned in the release from Japan embassy, New Delhi.


This year again, there will be competitions in the categories of Junior, Middle, Senior Students and Teachers. The result will be declared on the same day on the school website. The Prize distribution ceremony will be held on Thursday, November 21st, 2024 at the Embassy of Japan.
