The meet aimed to highlight NEC's pivotal role in enhancing the quality of life of citizens in Uttar Pradesh by creating futuristic Smart Cities through advanced solutions, such as Integrated Command and Control Center (ICCC), city management, and intelligent transportation & traffic management systems, contributing to the state's development across diverse parameters.

Key Highlights:
1. Smart Cities: NEC has implemented Integrated Command and Control Centers (ICCC) in the cities of
Saharanpur and Meerut, enhancing city management, safety, and efficiency.
○ In Meerut: An efficient traffic management system has been incorporated with advanced technologies such as Adaptive Traffic Control System (ATCS) at 8 junctions, Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) systems at 62 locations, and various violation detection systems - Red Light Violation Detector (RLVD) at 31 locations and Speed Violation at 7 locations. Furthermore, they have deployed public address systems and emergency call boxes at 9 locations each along with 150 city-wide Wi-Fi access points. All of this is
further bolstered with a centralized operation control room across the city.
○ In Saharanpur: The Integrated Command and Control System has been implemented citywide, providing smart solutions and advancing the city's infrastructure with an extensive surveillance system with 1000 approx. cameras, comprehensive Intelligent Traffic management systems (ITMS) including 17 ATCS, 63 RLVD, and 103 ANPR systems, vehicle management system (VMS), ATCS, and city-wide optical fiber cable spanning
200 km. Additionally, it incorporates AI-based video analytics, monitoring centers, and citizen collaboration kiosks to enhance urban management and engagement.
2. UPSRTC Transformation: NEC's comprehensive solution for the Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) includes real-time bus tracking, passenger information systems, safety buttons, and a centralized command center for optimized operations and enhanced citizen safety across 5,000 buses and approximately 3,000 routes. This project also includes the establishment of 20 regional command centers while operating 40,000 trips per day catering to 16 lakh passengers and for enhanced passenger experience.
3. Biometric Boarding (DigiYatra) in Varanasi: NEC's facial recognition-based biometric solution is deployed at Varanasi airport for seamless passenger processing.
● Impact: Operational efficiency at Varanasi airport has been significantly optimized, resulting in waiting times being reduced by more than half, with the average utilization of DigiYatra in Varanasi reaching an impressive 80%, demonstrating consistent and substantial user adoption in recent months.
NEC India’s advancements in smart cities and urban mobility have established it as an industry leader, while

enhanced Global Smart City Suite, featuring innovative solutions like NEC Mi-Command( Integrated Command
& Control Center), NEC Mi-City (Citizen Engagement Portal), NEC Mi-Eye(Intelligent Video Analytics) and NEC Mi-WareSync (Warehouse Management System), marks a significant progression in their capabilities.
